- The output is a model-based runtime range. Efficiency, usable capacity and battery health are entered assumptions; the lower estimate applies an additional 15% reduction.
Important notes
- Use the UPS manufacturer runtime curves at the target load, temperature, discharge rate and battery age for final sizing. The 15% reduction is a calculator heuristic, not a certified error bound or a guaranteed minimum runtime.
